Summit Medical Group is proud to announce that SMG Orthorthopedics’ shoulder and elbow specialists Eric Black, MD, and Matthew Garberina, MD, participated in a panel discussion at the 8th Annual Mid-Atlantic Shoulder and Elbow Society (MASES) Meeting on September 7, 2018.
Drs. Black and Garberina were selected to present on a panel entitled, Rotator Cuff Tears in the 67-Year-Old: What’s in the Toolbox? due to their experience and expertise in repairing rotator cuff tears. They presented to an audience of experts on rotator cuff repair techniques as the panel discussed the most effective treatments in older patients.
The conference took place at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, DC. Attendees included orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers, physical and occupational therapists, advanced practice nurses and other medical professionals who treat conditions of the shoulder and elbow.
Drs. Black and Garberina were honored to share their knowledge with their peers to advance the treatment of rotator cuff tears by healthcare practitioners up and down the East Coast.
