Matthew Garberina, MD, one of Summit Medical Group’s noted shoulder and elbow experts, recently gave two lectures on shoulder replacement to an audience of other shoulder and elbow surgeons. The event—the 11th annual Emily Berend Adult Reconstruction Symposium—was held at Duke University in North Carolina on April 26 and 27.
In addition to moderating the shoulder-related panel discussions, Dr. Garberina gave two lectures:
- The Evolving Roles for Anatomic and Reverse Total Shoulder Arthroplasty
- Instability After Reverse Total Shoulder Arthroplasty
Whether it’s educating patients, exchanging ideas with other experts or helping train the next generation of healthcare providers, Dr. Garberina is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience to help patients achieve the best outcomes. We are proud to have acknowledged experts such as Dr. Garberina and the rest of the clinical staff at Summit Medical Group Orthopedics.
