New Knees. New Life.

I had two total knee replacements; the second was 9 weeks after the first. In each case, on the day of the surgery, I was able to move the knee that had been replaced more easily than I had for the past 10 years. The multi modal pain system resulted in my using paid medication only on the first day post-discharge. While post-operative swelling and stiffness were uncomfortable, I did not experience pain greater than level 1 or 2. Within three and a half weeks after the second surgery, I had progressed to walking two miles comfortably. I could not be more satisfied with the surgeries!!
